Anna Dello Russo for H&M

So who is Anna Dello Russo?....... Well she is currently the fashion Director at Large and Creative Consultant at Vogue Nippon (Japan) and she spent twelve years at Conde Nast Italia, first as a fashion editor for Vogue Italia and then the Editor in Cheif of L'Uomo Vogue.  Anna is an active member of the web community.  Fully exploring the communication potential of the net, she dispenses style tips and gives glimpses of the glamourous lifestyle, through her eagerly followed blog www.annadellorusso.com

She has now collaborated with H&M to release a highly anticipated collection which comprises of jewelry, luggage, sunglasses and even an ornate feather hat.

I read about the collaboration in a magazine and thought that it looked amazing....lots of gold and turquiose (my favourites!) So I decided to check out the collection for myself in H&M on Oxford Street.

To be honest the collaboration isn't the most popular one H&M has done, and I can say this because there were still lots of products still available to buy on the shop floor.  I can remember going to the Versace for H&M launch and the products were mobbed! and there was nothing left by the end of the day!  (It was a similar situation with the Marni for H&M collaboration too).  I think the reason for this is becuase Anna is ever so lightly less well known globally as Versace and Marni.

Despite this, it is a very good collection..... and very reasonably priced.  My favourite pieces are the snake and crocodile braclets.  They are gorgeous! and would make a real statement worn with black.  They are priced around £25 each which isn't too bad for one-off pieces.

Here are some photos I took of the collection in store.  Each item comes in a really beautiful and well designed box which makes me want to buy the pieces even more!

In person the pieces look really good quality.... they are heavy and definitely worth the money.  I will definietly be purchasing one of the snake braclets and highly recommend that you check out the pieces for yourselfs! You WILL fall in love.

If you can't get to an H&M that stocks the range you can buy on-line at www.hm.com.
