Blouse £14.99 H&M //
T-shirt £7.99 H&M // Necklace £5.99 H&M
Braclet £3.99 H&M //
I love the smoky charcoal colour of the t-shirt and I'll wear it with the black and silver beaded necklace that I bought to give it a bit of interest. I'll pair this with a black leather jacket and leggings. To finish the look I'll wear my Topshop studded ballerina pumps. This is look I'll wear for uni today!
I'll also wrap the necklace round to make it shorter and thicker, more of a statement piece to mix things up a bit (multi use!)
I fell in love with this sheer blouse as soon as I saw it and the price is amazing concidering how expensive and sleek it looks on. It reminds me of classic Chanel (monochrome and clean lines). Whilst I am on the subject of Chanel there is going to be and exhibition about the history of Chanel's little black jacket at the Saatchi gallery in London from tomorrow (12th October) so I will most definitely be checking that out and will tell you all about it on here!
This photo shows the lovely flowing sleeves..... it hides a multitude of sins (and looks glamourous!)
And in this photo I have worn it with the statement necklace I bought (and blogged about) a few days ago. The colours go perfectly together and the necklace dresses the top up even more.
So what make-up would I wear with this?..... I would go for a smoky eye. I've applied brown eyeshadow over my eye lids and under my eye. I then used a black liquid eyeliner and drawn bold flicks and filled in any gaps with a black pencil liner. All the eye products are by Boujour.
With any smoky eye, I would go for nude lips. I've used Boujour 3D effect lip gloss in 33.
Finally I would finish the look with a beige nail varnish to give a classy and sophisticated look. I've used Accesorize's nail varnish in Fudge.
Have a go at creating your sleek and sophisticated look on a budget. It can be done!
