Busy day at uni today! Two buying and merchandising lectures and prep for our projects, I was definitely in need of a Starbucks for the tube ride home! Once again I found myself browsing the stores on Oxford St and ended up spending a considerable amount of time in the make up section of Topshop where I purchased two new editions to my make up bag.....
The first is the Brighten pen in 'Moonlight'. It is Topshop's version of Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat so I thought I'd give it a try as it is considerably cheaper at £7.99. I applied it under my eyes before applying my foundation and then topped it up slightly after... it really does work, it makes your eyes appear more fresh and bright..... great for hiding those late nights!
I also bought Topshop's Kohl pencil in Brown.... I wanted an alternative to black and this is perfect! It's a lot more subtle than using a black liner but defines the eye as effectively! It goes on really well and lasts all day... not bad for £4. I really admire the quality of Topshop's make up!
