Saturday afternoon shopping

I had this Saturday free so decided to hit Oxford Street and have some retail therapy.  I went into Boots and saw a new Barry M nail varnish range called 'Gelly Hi-shine' it is supposed to make your nails look like you've just had a Gel nail manicure done as it dries really shiny! Well, I'm a sucker for new things so I bought some in 'Blackberry 234'.  It's a dark purple colour..... perfect alternative for dark nails if you don't want to have them jet black.

I'm a big fan of Barry M products becuase they are always of a high quality and so I was sure that the nail varnish would deliver its promise....... and it did!

As you can see from the photos it left my nails really shiny! I applied two coats becuase I always think nail varnish looks better with several coats (two is more that enough for this one) the colour also looks thick (just like a gel manicure) which is brilliant.  At only £3.99 it is a bargain and it comes in about seven different shades including pinks, blues and oranges (I'll definitely be purchasing these). 

This Blackberry colour is so on-trend for this season reflecting the romantic gothic and dark floral trends seen on the catwalks for A/W 2012!
